What is teeth photo whitening?
Teeth photo whitening is a safe and non-invasive cosmetic procedure that helps reduce tooth discoloration caused by coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco and other staining pigments. At Estee salon, we use a peroxide-free whitening gel that is activated with cold LED light. The treatment is gentle on tooth enamel and is suitable for many people with sensitive teeth.
If you want to quickly refresh your smile and make your teeth look visibly lighter, LED teeth photo whitening is a convenient and effective solution.
How does the procedure work?
- The initial tooth shade is determined.
- If necessary, the tooth surface is cleaned.
- A peroxide-free whitening gel is applied to the teeth.
- The gel is activated with cold LED light in three 15-minute cycles.
- The result is evaluated and recommendations are given on how to maintain it.
Procedure duration: approximately 60 minutes.

Recommendations before and after the procedure
For the best result, we recommend having professional tartar removal and teeth cleaning before teeth whitening.
After the procedure, we recommend avoiding the following for 72 hours:

- beetroot, berries, chocolate and other highly pigmented foods;
- smoking.
These recommendations help maintain the whitening result for as long as possible.
Recommended course
For the best cosmetic result, we recommend 2–3 treatments according to the specialist’s advice.
Whitening is not recommended more often than once every four weeks and no more than four times per year.
Contraindications
The procedure is not suitable:
- during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- for people under 18 years old;
- in case of untreated cavities or gum inflammation;
- in case of significant tartar buildup;
- in case of allergy to the gel ingredients.
Please note that whitening only affects natural teeth. The shade of fillings, crowns and veneers does not change.
