Carbon peeling is a cosmetic procedure, the purpose of which is to remove dead skin cells and initiate skin regeneration. Laser carbon peeling can be used to treat various skin conditions.

Principles of the method and its advantages.
Laser carbon peeling combines laser exposure and photorejuvenation. The procedure is based on a carbon nanogel, the therapeutic effect of which is based on the ability of the gel to penetrate the layers of the skin and bind dead cells, fat and dirt.
The simultaneous effect of the laser destroys dead cells, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, reduces pathogenic microflora, improves skin color and relief.
The method is well suited for the treatment of acne and the normalization of skin lipid metabolism.

The procedure is performed in 2 stages:

The nanogel is applied to the face area and allowed to dry, then the area is treated with a laser that “sprays” the gel nanoparticles. The interaction of laser and nanogel accelerates the rejection of dead cells. The first stage allows you to clean the surface layer of the skin, but does not have a deep effect.

The second step is laser photothermolysis. The stage is necessary for deep skin treatment by accelerating the production of regeneration, collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the dermal layer of the skin.

What will I feel during the procedure?
Laser carbon peeling does not cause any discomfort, during the procedure the patient feels only warmth.

The advantage of the method is its versatility, which allows it to be used to treat a variety of problems. For example, skin can be oily and porous (superficial problem) as well as aging (deep problem).
Carbon peeling can treat both problems at the same time, clearing oily skin and removing the first signs of aging.

Advantages of the method:

  1. Painless and comfortable peeling
  2. Anti-inflammatory and bactericidal action
  3. Nanogel has a cleansing effect
  4. Tightens enlarged pores and reduces sebum production.
  5. Stimulation of elastin and collagen production (skin rejuvenation).

Indications:

  • Acne and comedones (preferably not in the active phase of inflammation)
  • Early signs of aging
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dark spots
  • Skin with uneven color and texture.

Contraindications:

  • Oncology
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding
  • Chronic dermatitis

If possible, before the procedure, it is necessary to remove all inflammation and establish that you do not have hypersensitivity to carboxylic acids (very rare).

The procedure takes 20-30 minutes. And there are no seasonal or age restrictions.

After the procedure:

After the procedure, the skin remains slightly reddened, which can last up to 48 hours.
With this in mind, you can plan your time ahead of time.

Itching of the skin may appear for several days after the procedure.
To speed up recovery after the procedure, you can use conventional cosmetic moisturizers.

After a cosmetic peel, make-up can be used, but direct tanning of the area should be avoided for the first 2-3 weeks, as this may contribute to the formation of age spots.

How many sessions are needed? Are there complications after carbon peeling?

Usually, 3-5 procedures are required to achieve the desired result, but in some cases up to 7-8 or more procedures. Since carbon peeling is minimally invasive and atraumatic, it has no complications.
