Photoepilation is an effective type of hair removal designed for everyone who wants to get rid of unwanted hairs. Hair removal requires a course of treatments, as hair growth goes through three stages: an active phase, a resting phase, and a shedding phase. To achieve the desired result, several visits to the salon are necessary, since photoepilation acts only on the hairs that are in the active phase. After each procedure, a much smaller amount of hair grows again.

The number of procedures required is individual and depends on the color of the hairs, skin type, your age and hormonal status. What do you need to know before the procedure?

• Sunbathing and the use of self-tanning creams should be avoided 2 weeks before the procedure and during the treatment period. We recommend using sunscreen during treatment.

• We do not recommend to carry out procedures during menstruation, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

• In order for the procedure to give a significant result and be most effective, the length of the hair during the procedure should be 1 mm. One day before the procedure, you need to shave off the hairs from the treated surface of the skin with a shaving machine.

• The surface to be treated must be free of permanent make-up, scars or tattoos.

• Before the procedure, the use of creams, perfumes and decorative cosmetics on the treated area should be avoided.
